School Clearance Services
School clearance is a licensed waste clearance service that removes classroom furniture, IT equipment, and grounds clutter from schools, colleges, and academies, provided by DrClear across the West Midlands.
Clear unused furniture, broken IT assets, and campus clutter without disruption to teaching. We provide an Environment Agency-registered, insured school rubbish clearance service tailored to schools, colleges, and academies.
Our waste clearance service includes the following benefits:
- Flexible clearance outside teaching hours, with same-day and next-day visits depending on how many jobs are already booked that day
- Up to £6M public liability cover and DBS-checked clearance staff
- Legal compliance with documentation for every load
- A 95% landfill diversion rate, measured by volume, through reuse, donation, and recycling
Complete educational clearance services
Educational sites face tight deadlines, strict safeguarding standards, and heavy waste volumes. Whether you plan an update for a single science lab or need assistance relocating a whole school site, our school clearance specialists manage the entire process from collection to disposal.
Classroom and office furniture removal
We remove damaged desks, chairs, whiteboards, filing cabinets, and staff room furniture. Our team protects your corridors, door frames, and flooring to minimise damage as we lift and move heavy items. You can book a one-off bulk collection and book again whenever storage areas fill up during the school year.
School IT equipment and asset disposal
Outdated computer suites, interactive screens, cables, and servers require safe, recorded disposal. We take outdated electronics, reuse functional equipment where possible, and recycle components in line with UK waste standards. Data-bearing devices are physically destroyed in-house, so their contents cannot be recovered, and a certificate of destruction is available on request.
Outdoor storage, sheds, and grounds clearance
Grounds clutter creates safety hazards for students and staff. We clear outdoor play equipment, sports fixtures, broken maintenance tools, derelict sheds, and timber stores. Our specialists take away bulky refuse and sweep the area clean before departure.
Compliance, safety, and licensed waste removal
Schools carry a strict legal duty of care for every item that leaves their property. Unlicensed fly-tipping puts educational facilities at legal and financial risk. We operate as an upper-tier waste carrier registered with the Environment Agency (CBDU549477).
We dispose of waste in full accordance with UK waste regulations. When collection ends, you receive a waste transfer note. This document records the waste carrier licence details, the waste description, and the collection volume, giving you the documented record that duty of care asks for during local authority or board audits.
How our school clearance process works
To clear waste from your school grounds or facilities, follow these steps:
- Request an assessment. Complete the contact form, send details online, or send photos of the items that you want removed using WhatsApp.
- Review the upfront quote. Assess our transparent price quote, which we calculate and issue based on your waste volume, item types, and site access requirements.
- Arrange an arrival date and time. Choose an arrival window that suits your school timetable, whether during the school term or during a school break.
- Allow our staff access. Provide our friendly staff members access to clear the rubbish, load the vehicles, sweep the site, and issue your compliance paperwork immediately.
Flexible scheduling around term times
Classroom learning comes first. We schedule collections around your operational timetable, including school holidays, weekends, early mornings, and late afternoons to avoid noise, foot traffic, and vehicle congestion near pupils. Collections can also take place during normal school hours if site access allows safe isolation from pupils. If you relocate school buildings or refurbish classrooms during the summer holiday break, our teams work alongside your contractors to maintain steady site progress.
Why choose our clearance team
Choose our clearance team for the following operational standards:

- Booked for full clearance of a one bed flat and garden clearance (excessive weed growth). Was available very quickly after visiting to quote which helped us massively!
Clearance was done to a high standard and extremely quick! The 3 man crew were very … More polite and friendly
Would recommend to anyone needing their services
School Clearance from £375. The from-price is the starting figure for the smallest normal job of this type. The final price depends on volume, access, separately handled items and labour time.
