How our house clearance service works
Every clearance starts with the items you want removed. You send us photos, and we use them to prepare an estimate. If we need to see the property first, we arrange a site visit before work begins. We handle the waste under our waste carrier licence.
Request a free photo quote
Send photos of the rooms, garage, loft or flat to be cleared, and tell us roughly how much is there. Your quote depends on volume, access, separately handled items and labour time. From photos we give an estimate. A quote given after a visit is fixed and does not change on the day.
Book a collection date
Once you accept the quote, we arrange a collection date that suits you. Same day Clearance starts from £575. Attendance depends on team availability, location, access and job size, so it is not guaranteed. Same day availability depends on the number of jobs already booked for that day. Ask us when you call if you need items removed quickly.

Clearance for bereaved families and probate
DrClear understands that clearing a family home after a death is difficult. We work with families and executors with patience and respect for personal belongings, and we work to the timescale that suits the estate.
Probate clearance
Executors and solicitors often need a property cleared before it can be sold or handed over. We provide probate clearance across Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Coventry, Dudley, Walsall, Sandwell and Solihull, and give an estimate from photos. A quote given after a property visit is fixed and does not change on the day.
Bereavement clearance
For bereavement clearance, we take the time to understand what the family wants to keep, what goes to others and what needs to be removed. Our team treats personal belongings with care throughout the job.
Clearance for tenancies and landlords
DrClear clears properties at the end of a tenancy, so landlords, tenants and estate agents can hand over the property on time. Tell us the move-out date and the items to be removed, and request a photo estimate or a fixed quote after a property visit.
What happens to items you no longer need
DrClear separates waste by type and sends suitable materials for recycling. DrClear diverts 95% of collected material from landfill, measured by volume, evidenced by Waste Transfer Notes.
Recycling and landfill diversion
DrClear takes the items we collect to the correct waste streams, so less of what you clear ends up in landfill.
Legal waste handling and duty of care
DrClear does not take solvents, paints, fuels, gas bottles, explosives, fireworks, ammunition, pesticides, vehicle batteries, chemicals or oils. Asbestos: we stop and refer it to a licensed contractor. DrClear uses authorised waste routes. Check us on the Environment Agency waste carrier register using registration number CBDU549477. DrClear issues waste transfer notes on every clearance. Householders must pass waste to an authorised person. Businesses must keep a waste transfer note. We are a Dun & Bradstreet verified company (DUNS: 231931050).
